excited and sore

Ugh, phew XD
Ok, so here I sit, exhuasted mentally and physically from work. ^^; My left arm is pretty sore and numb, my feet have blisters and my head is throbbing cuz well hey going in and out from hot to cold and back and forth sucks...but my day was AWESOME! ^-^

Ok, so I got up at 6:30, ate a lil foodage and headed off to the land of work, thanks to a co-worker giving me a ride there and back. ^^ So I get there, pretty dead tho up til the start of the Packers game it was a normal busy weekday. When I got all the carts in I went from bagging to shopback (putting stuff back on shelves), back outside cart running, inside bagging, and undecorating. So yeah, I was kept pretty busy, and thus why I"m so sore...well that and working so many days in a row.

BUT! Here's the positives of the day!

1. I got a $5 gift card treated by the store to have lunch on, for being there on a holiday! ^^
2. I didn't really have to do a lot of hard work, so it was easy money.
3. For $12 bucks I got the fixins to have an awesome dinner: Steak, sweet potatoes, Stuffing, Creamy italian pasta salad, and gerkin pickles, with some egg nog. ^_^

BUT THE BEST:

4. The store head manager dude came up to me, complimented my hard work, patted my back and said the following:
HIM: "How much are you making an hour?"
ME: "$7.25"
HIM: "I see...is that enough for you?"
ME: "Huh?"
And he explained how I'm always there with a smile working my butt off and doing a great job, he wants to give me a payraise, give me a lil more responsibility like training new cart runners and whatnot. I about hit the floor! It's not official yet, but cross your fingers for me PLEASE! ^_^

That's it, I'm healing up now before tomorrow, so wish me luck! ;3 *Tailwiggles his bum bum off*
